GETTING TO ABBEYSTOWE
The Abbey Medieval Festival is held at Abbeystowe, an open field near the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology in the Moreton Bay Region, Caboolture, South East Queensland. The address is 579 Old Toorbul Point Rd

Due to development on the Pumicestone Road Park and Ride location, we no longer have access to this site. We have now secured direct on-site parking with our neighbouring property. To help us manage capacity, you will be required to obtain a day pass for parking from 2025. Please consider carpooling or save money and catch the FREE shuttle from Caboolture Train Station. Parking Passes must be purchased when ordering your Festival tickets.
All on-site parking will be at 579 Old Toorbul Point Road with two driveway entrances and traffic management to direct you accordingly. For more info see our FAQs

Driving from Brisbane
Abbeystowe is roughly a 45-minute drive from Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. Patrons driving from Brisbane should take the Caboolture-Bribie Island exit off the Bruce Highway, then move into Bribie Island exit 152A.
Head for Bribie Island, following the signs for the Abbey Medieval Festival and turn left onto Old Toorbul Point Road, heading to 579 Old Toorbul Point Rd.
Driving from the Sunshine Coast
Take Pumicestone Road, Toorbul/Donnybrook exit 157 off the Bruce Highway, drive 1km east along Pumicestone Road and turn right onto McGarry Road. Follow the signs for the Abbey Medieval Festival.
Train Station Transfers
FREE Courtesy Bus Shuttle from Train Station
FREE shuttle buses run every 15 Mins (from 7.45am) between Caboolture Train Station (Walter Street) and the Festival.
Free off-street parking is available near Caboolture Station at Hayes Street and James Street. The last bus departs the festival at 5.15pm
Take advantage of the QLD Governments 50c fares and catch public transport. There is a direct train departing from Brisbane Central station arriving at Caboolture station operating every day. Disabled Parking
Dedicated disabled parking will be available on site at the St Michaels school carkpark. Access off The Abbey Place, heading towards the Museum. You will be required to purchase the disabled parking pass when ordering your festival tickets.
As you near the Museum you will see signage diverting you to the left.
It is 250m from the festival entrance.
Please have your valid permit on display for access.
