It’s Live in Queensland!  We are so happy to be supported by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), a statutory body of the Queensland Government and the state’s lead marketing, destination and experience development and major events agency.

The Moreton Bay Regional Council area is the home of the Abbey Medieval Festival. With the support of the Council our medieval tournament has grown from a small one day event to the largest medieval living history festival in the Southern hemisphere. Over the years, Mayors and Councillors have donned medieval garb and joined in the pageantry, demonstrating their support for our Festival. We acknowledge the Moreton Bay Regional Council for its ongoing support.

Abbey Museum & Festival Partners

The ERMS Group is an Australian-owned and operated consultancy specialising in public safety, risk, emergency, crisis, and business continuity management services. Executive Director, Andrew Murray, has been a great supporter of our Festival for over 10 years. He has provided safety and risk and emergency management advice giving the Festival organisers confidence that our event is a safe and low-risk event for all our many patrons.

Located just 15 minutes from the Abbey Museum, North Harbour in East Burpengary is a unique residential development located along 9km of direct Caboolture river frontage. North Harbour and the Abbey Museum worked closely together to create the beautiful Heritage Park Precinct. Stop by the North Harbour stall at this year’s festival for some really fun medieval goodies!
