EFTPOS and ATM’s will be available, however reception may be affected. Bring cash to avoid any unnecessary disruption to your day.
TIMES
Gates open at 8.30 with the event concluding at 4.30pm.
TICKETS
Please have your tickets downloaded or saved to your phone in advance, this includes joust and pre-sale merch.
REMINDER! – Family passes are 4 individual tickets. Please have each ticket prepared to scan for each family member.
If you cannot locate your ticket search your inbox for ‘orders@ticketebo’, or email service@ticketebo.com.au. The Abbey Museum office will be unable to assist in locating your tickets.
PARKING
All parking, bus and shuttle details including Google Maps directions to the Park and Ride available at https://www.abbeymedievalfestival.com/getting-to-abbeystowe/
Park and Ride can accommodate prams and walkers.
BUS TRANSFERS
The Festival is operating free shuttle services from Caboolture train station from Walter Street, and regular shuttles from the park and ride carpark. Take note of pick up and drop off locations upon arrival. These are clearly signed. Please be prepared to wait for bus transfer at end of day or leave ahead of closing time to avoid delays.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES
Reminder to allow plenty of time to get into the Festival site, especially if you have first session Joust tickets. Prepare for traffic, entry queues and bus transfers, though we have taken active steps to try to alleviate the wait this year. Please note, on SATURDAY evening Sandstone Point have moved their Bonfire night to Saturday evening. We anticipate traffic on Bribie Island Road may be affected in the afternoon upon departure if you travel via this road, otherwise we recommend leaving via Pumicestone Road.
RECEPTION
Phone reception is limited. If travelling in a group, set meeting locations and times if you get separated. The Festival has radio communications across the entire site to respond in the event of an emergency. Read our Facebook Post for tips on managing reception issues.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please view our accessibility page for notices regarding cannon firing times, disabled parking, sensory tent and more.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
Please remember bag checks will be conducted upon entry. Strictly NO glass, alcohol, or unauthorised weapons.
ANIMALS
NO Animals allowed on site unless registered companion. Proof of registration required.
WEATHER
The rain has stopped but we are experiencing a beautiful warm winter, please consider sunscreen and stay hydrated.
SMS ALERTS
Please note we will issue an SMS alert if you supplied a mobile number to advise if parking on site is full and to use park and ride. If you didn’t supply a mobile number please watch our FACEBOOK page for announcements. If you are catching public transport just disregard the SMS.
We cannot accommodate any requests for ticket changes, purchases or Joust sessions, and we request you to please refrain from contacting the Abbey Museum office for support.

Please note, if you have purchased tickets from anywhere other than our authorised ticket sales and your ticket is deemed invalid upon entry, we cannot honour entry due to capacity limits.
